For over 20 years, Gurnee Dental Care has been serving the Gurnee and surrounding area with exceptional dentistry and care. We aren’t like any other dental office because you’re not like any other dental patient. We recognize that each patient has needs that are specific and personal when it comes to their dental health or their smile goals. We take a personalized approached to dentistry, and we know how important it is to spend one-on-one time with our patients. This one-on-one approach allows us to find out their specific dental health needs and their personal goals for their treatment- whether it’s a healthier mouth or a more beautiful smile.

First Appointment

When coming to our office for your first consultation appointment, you should expect to spend about 1 to 1 ½ hours with us. During this initial visit, you will be given a comprehensive examination. We will gather information about you that will include a complete charting of conditions in your mouth, evaluating and documenting your periodontal (gums) health, digital photographs and X-rays, and we will also review your dental history as well as your overall health history. Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation: any recent x-rays from your previous dentist, a list of any medications you are taking, and any insurance information.

Once we have taken in your health information and diagnostic images, we will review this information and the images with you. We will also design a personalized dental treatment plan for you and will start laying out options to achieve your dental health and smile goals. Usually, a teeth-cleaning or treatment can begin the same day. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Patient Communication

Our office wants to be able to make communication with our patients as easy as possible. We utilize text, email and a patient portal to enable an efficient means of communicating appointments, statements, reminders, dental forms, payments as well as patient concerns.

Payment and Insurance Solutions

New Patients

At Gurnee Dental Care we recommend your treatments based on your own personal dental needs, not based on your insurance coverage. We work with most PPO insurance plans including Delta Dental and Cigna PPO, as well as all fee for service plans.

We strive to give our patients the best dental care at the most reasonable price. To help reduce billing costs, payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember that you are responsible for all costs associated with your treatment regardless of your insurance coverage. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility.
